Industry = Education

Press Release Summary = I know from personal experience that few people are ever too
old to get to grips with computer technology. These well-thought out CD discs will
help everyone, Seniors included, to learn to use a computer or to improve their
existing skills.

Press Release Body = Brr, Brr, the telephone rings at home, you stand up to answer
it, casually zapping the television with the remote control. Nowadays there must be
hundreds of machines and appliances we can operate but we have little understanding
of how they actually work. Usually this doesn\'t matter - at least not until things
go wrong!

TEACH AN OLD DOG NEW TRICKS!This is all due to the arrival of the digital micro chip
which has ushered in a New Age whether we like it or not. As a result of this
innovation equipment has been miniaturized and become much more multi-functional.
Gone are the days when a member of the household (usually male) could tinker with a
watch, a kettle, a vacuum cleaner or even a car. Our personal details are being
reduced to a string of digits and a bewildering number of passwords. Many of us in
our sixties know that like it or not we are join g to have to come to grips with
computer technology. There is no point in trying to postpone the inevitable. In
another ten years at the latest we could find ourselves in a position where everyday
living is impossible without basic computer knowledge.

Everyone needs to be computer literate. There are many ways of acquiring this
knowledge. I started by attending classes. This was a disaster. No one other than
myself was a true beginner and I ended up very confused. Next I enrolled in a course
which came with a set of manuals. This allowed me to learn at my own pace but didn\'t
work out so well when I needed help was convinced that there must be a better way to
learn to use a computer. Finally I found it! A series of CD discs which covered all
that anyone needs to learn from beginner to advanced level. These inter-active discs
presented the information in a way that is easy to follow and understand. You can
constantly update your knowledge as new CDs appear dealing with the latest topics. I
felt confident and thanks to these CDs I made progress.

Being able to use a computer does not, however, protect us or equip us to find
solutions to their problems. I needed a technical support service which offers a
very high level of support. Finally I found one which operates a live 24/7 service
which will deal with everything from a quick virus sweep or computer tune-up all the
way to the dreaded meltdown. There are plans suited to individuals, small businesses
or large corporations.
